They aren't pop-ups, per se. Rather, the page fades away and a whole-page ad shows up. I've never seen it before, but it's almost worse than a pop-up, IMO.
Haven't gotten any today though. Maybe the powers-that-be decided against that particular source of revenue
ETA: I'm downloading FF 3. now

  • I'm using Webroot Spy Sweeper w/ Antivirus & firewall. Though I block all cookies, those ads only show up once in a while. Perhaps, it's the time of day when they appear. I just changed a setting & will see if that takes care of the ads. I never had FA is being brought to you by...or the entire page changing.

    I seriously doubt THAT!
More likely, my keyboard senses that I have very little discretionary income and communicates that to the main server!

  • You folks are toooo funny. I view this board quite a bit because I'm fascinated with legal procedure, and in some cases the exact wording of a given type of law. Among the many forums and many threads, there's a bit of humor to be found.
You've helped me tremendously with problems I had questions about in the past and humor me in ways you may be unaware of. "Thanks!'
But shouldnt the option to not view the pop up ad be "decline" instead of "skip ad?"

  • I'm using Sea Monkey (another Mozilla-based browser), and I haven't had the pop-up ads. I checked the board using Internet Explorer, and the ads showed up.
Has anyone had the ads display when using Netscape, since it's also a Mozilla-based browser like Sea Monkey and FireFox?
