My son is in 7th grade and is facing disciplinary actions by the school board for threatening to kill students and trying to stab one with a pen to make them stop harassing him. He had stated to them to stop but they continued to harass him until they pushed him past his tolerance level.
The school is taking disciplinary actions which could result in going to juvenile court. They sent a letter to me stating that he would also need mandatory counseling by the school psychologist.
Can I refuse this mandatory counseling if I am seeking professional counseling elsewhere?
Does anyone know how mandatory release works? Does it apply to federal inmates? If so, does anyone know the specifics? Any information on mandatory release is helpful! Thanks!...
mandatory parole?It seems to me that if the states offer a parole system, they should, by law, get the system right. Should discretionary parole be discretionary, then mandatory should be mandatory, but prior to ones good time release.
