I have been a Mother figure to this young man that I know for over three years. Feb. 20th I was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and three herniated disc. When I was released I was in such pain I was put on Morphine.
I stopped by to visit Rod as I usually do about once a week to see how things are going. I was in great pain and took some Morphine while at his house. I also had two bottles of medication with me that the vet gave my cat. We were discussing how it makes Speedy (cat) feel. I left all three bottles. He called me and I had planned to stop by and get the medicine after work the next day. I had enough medication at home.
I'm from the country and have always done this. When I take medications, that are not of my normal routine, more than once per day. I will always take the label off of an empty bottle and then write the name of the medication I'm going to have to take at noon or 2pm on the bottle.
Well, he was arrested for something else and they had a search warrant for his house. My medications were in his house and they are charging him with intent to sell cause I took the label off.
I want to testify in his behalf, but his attorney said I would be charged with intent to sell because the label was off and I would loose my high security job.
I need advice. Is this true or not.
