My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas
There was a party bout a week ago,the party was stopped by a different friends mom before anybody left and took all the alcohol away from the minors and made them stay
and a friend called some one a got a ride home, on the way home, the driver had a blow out on his car and they had a wreck, my friend was care flighted to a hospital for alcohol posioning.
a few days later the police arrested the mom and charged her for contributing to minors.
she found out about the alcohol later when she busted the party and poured it all out.
how come she's getting charged for this when she did the right thing in busting up the party.
