waitingtogetpaid California (Employment & Labor Law)

:confused:every pay period I have to wait for my pay check.
I always have to ask for my paycheck, as of last Friday two pay checks are owed to me. I feel not appreciated, I work very hard on top of the fact that every thing has been left to me to do as of the time my supervisor got involved with my boss and owner of the company. Now he is going through a divorce and has financial problems and is behind payroll some times I have no money for gas and even when it is time for rent it seems like no one cares I live pay check to pay check and they both know I have stated over and over to them one rent goes to my rent and other I budget for the month.
I feel bad as their friend but as an employee it makes me upset to see I do all the work and work hard and even though am on salary once I see how many hours I realy work I feel this is not worth it I stress when rent time is and I always have to be asking for loans to aviod late fees or late charge on my bills and rent.
Is my boss and supervisor taking advantage of the fact that I do not know labor law and the fact that we were good friends?
confused???????????

    11. Q. If my employer does not pay me on my regularly scheduled payday, what can I do?

    A. You should contact the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement and explain that your employer is not paying you on the regularly scheduled paydays. DLSE will assist you by explaining the law to your employer. Failure to post the payday notice required by Labor Code Section 207, and failure to pay wages in good funds on the regular designated payday as prescribed in Labor Code Sections 204, 204b, 205, and 209, respectively, is a misdemeanor. Labor Code Section 215
