wrote up for sexual harrasement when there was none (Employment & Labor Law)

Hello I live in central florida. I started to date a guy that was in the same type of business that I am in. I am an independent contractor, and he is a full-time employee with this other company. We met on the job and decided to start going out. We didn' let anyone in the business know that we were going out. The times that we did work together we treated each other as if we were just someone that we were working with. There was no flirting, no touching. When we talked it was around a group of people always standing away from one another. Well his work found out that we were going out. They wrote him up for sexual harrasement. When I asked him how they could do that he said that his company says that they can not talk to a customer or another worker in a person matter, because they will take it as sexual harrasement. This whole matter makes me mad I do not see how they can charge him with it. I thought sexual harrasement was to be reported by the person complaining about it. Me. I have not said anything to his company if anything I would like to tell his company to give him time so that he can have a life. We have only worked together maybe 8 times. People on his job asked him if we were going out and he told them no. I think that they suspected something but there was no signs from us to confirm the issue. Can his company put this in his file if I did not complain about this? What can we do to clear this matter up. I am afraid that if he goes to another company that this is going to haunt him. He was charged with sexual harrasement when there was none. Please help with anytype of information that you have thank you.
