• Then you CAN get in touch with him. Pay what you owe and seek the contempt charges in court. (you haven't convinced me you don't owe it - particularly since YOU state in your first post that you DO owe it)

• Well then pay your Ex and when/if they don't pay you back, file contempt charges for non-payment.
  Make sure YOU are current and up-to-date before you haul them to court on non-payment though.

• I can not zero it out with the ex spouses help. He would prefer to see me dead before helping me. Because of this mess with arrearages on both of us he was able to get my tax refund last year for 13,000. And the State does not catch the whole you, I owe thing.

  File a petition requesting payment of the arrears owed to you. In the petition, clearly state that you owe ex an equal amount and ask that the court order payment of both, which, if they are EXACTLY the same amount, will accomplish what you want.
  IF you owe ex even one penny more than he owes you, this might not work so make sure to pay what is needed to bring both arrearages to the exact same amount. You should get arrearage affidavits for both arrearages and attach those and a copy of the current order to the petition.
  EDITED TO ADD: If either you or your ex owe any arrears to the state, those will still need to be paid to the state.

• He lives on the streets no address no job. To make this so you can understand here is the history. At one point he had custody, five years ago he lost custody and it was awared to me. The state continued to come after me for support even though the court had granted me custody. The court went back and oreded him to pay support starting with the day I was granted custody. The state still kept charging me with support plus interrest. So we are now at a point where it is the same amount on both sides because the state of Florida is stupid.

• I am up to date. It's a long story but the short of it is I have the children, he's pissed, the court/ Dept of Rev screwed up and they can't figure it out. He doesn't work and to quote the last judge I was in front of ... good luck finding him to get any support. That is why I want to zeroed out. Then he can't receive any money that isn't his and he can just allow his current support to build up. I don't care about he's money I just don't want him to get another dime of mine.

• You are not the only one confused, trust me. Four judges a couple state worker and ofcorse myself join you. I/m NOT behind. The state has two different case numbers one for me and one for him. The Florida Department Of Rev. Screwed up and one one will undo it. I can't afford legal help and when I try to do it myself I get the run around. not so much from the judges they all are nice but the state could care less about the problem. They told me "they don't have to audit anything unless they think it's needed" I file motions and I am always told it will be looked into and it never is

• In Florida they have these nice little master cards that they put support checks on, the only address anyone has for him, including the courts, is his parents, who are on my side. So, whenever they take money from me the state makes a little deposit on his card and he has it.
