• Thank you. I will have to call the court to see who the mediator will be. I thought the Court would have been easier to deal with but have since changed my views. My ex, through her lawyer, told the Courts that my daughter was living with her those two months she was with me. The Courts said that due to the conflicting story that we had to go to mediation. My ex only saw my daughter 7 hours during those two months. Should I pursue these lies that were submitted to the Courts through her Answer to my Motion? I don't know if these would be considered perjury due to being on paper but would think so. Thank you for your answer, Grady

• Be polite, keep your cool, emphasize that the mother has caused a great deal of instability by throwing the kids out of the home and that you can provide a stable home environment... But really, consult a lawyer in your state, get a full evaluation of your situation, and get sound advice as to how to proceed. If the lawyer is familiar with the mediator, you may be able to get some very helpful information about the mediator's style preferences.

• I contacted a lawyer for advice. She suggested trying to get shared parenting. She said it would probably eliminate support and be easier to get than primary residence. She said I had to prove a major change in circumstances. Any suggestions??
