  You are trained in the MOS you enlisted for, the only way to change it
  is if you are incapable of duty in that MOS. Uncle Sam spent good money

  allowed (usually 24 mths from ETS date) to re-enlist, if you are allowed

• You can forget about a TS in the near term, however, due to the recency of your AWOLs - I'm guessing they are recent since you seem to have less than 6 months active duty. It's a long, expensive process to create a proficient foreign language speaker and if you're not living up to your current commitment they may not want to take a chance on you.
  Also, if you wanted 35w originally, why did you sign up for 11B? I mean, is there something else in your background that you thought might prevent this originally?
  Finally, you're Army - we go AWOL. Marine Corps and Navy go UA.

  No, not at all. I have a crystal clear record. I just wanted to be in a specific unit. So I took another route.
