Wrong date on I-94 (Immigration Law)

  You would be out of status. The easiest way to straighten it out is to
  leave to Canada or Mexico, be sure to surrender your I-94 when you leave,
  and come back and fill out a new one.
  
  The other possibilities include going to the local CIS office and asking
  for deferred inspection (although Sylvia just mentioned that this option
  may no longer be available). You can also try and go to the same airport
  where you entered the USA.

  Does your H1B petition have an I-94 attached to the bottom if
  it?
  
  They're supposed to give you an I-94 valid to the end of your
  petition if it doesn't exceed 3 years, and your visa is still valid, but
  they probably just made a mistake. You could depart/reenter prior to
  May'04, or send away by mail to extend your status. If you have an I-94
  attached to your I-797, it is probably good until the end of your
  petition.
