Your thoughts on jobs in Canada for those without a degree (Immigration Law)

Mon, 02 Feb 2004 12:52:00 GMT

I've been reading a lot on here about professionals having considerable
trouble getting work in their field, but what about immigrants who don't
have a degree? I'm Canadian and will be returning to Ontario with my
husband who's a Brit. He has 20 years experience, mainly in a well paid
retail management post, but does not have any academic qualifications
(besides secondary school). Will he have a lot of trouble finding a
descent job or should he look forward to sweeping floors? Your opinions
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
