Company did not pay insurance... now what? (Insurance Law)

Wed, 05 May 2010 15:20:00 GMT

I work for a small company in Ohio. My employer pays for half of my health insurance and I pay the other half. My share is taken out of my cheek weekly. I recently found out that my insurance has not been paid since 1-30-2010 and was terminated on that date. I have talked to HR about this and all I got was ... "oh, really ? I did not know that. I will cheek on it." Well, its been two weeks, and I have not heard anything more. Four other employees have tried to use their insurance, but were told their card was not good. Luck for me, I havent had to use mine. Any advise on what should or could be done. Thanks for any help you may offer.
