quick web domain question (Intellectual Property)

Sun, 02 Jul 2006 16:26:00 GMT

What is the name of your state? Colorado
Hello, I own hubbleprints.com. It seems I can sell stuff that is public domain as a few other sites are, but, can I sell prints with the web address hubbleprints.com?
thanks for your time
Nigel
Edit: heh, my question does not make sense to me either. I want to sell hubble prints off of my domain hubbleprints.com. As far as I can tell, the printing and selling of the images is not an issue as long as I provide the appropriate credits to a few folks. The sites currently selling hubble prints or stuff from visable earth for example, do not even provide the proper credit or CP info. My question is: "Will I find legal issues by using the name hubbleprints.com to sell hubble prints, as well as a load of other images paid for by us, the people".
thanks again, my attorney is likely in the middle of some river in Montana fly fishing and not answering his phone. It is a holiday I suppose lol...

Unless someone has acquired trademark rights to the term "hubbleprints" or something similar, there should be no problems selling these public domain prints.
