I live in an upstairs/downstairs duplex. Months after I moved into the downstairs unit the upstairs tenant began a home business. They moved in business equipment, computers, furniture, etc, and have at least three employees who work 9 to 5. They have the permission (I think) of the property manager to do what they're doing. My question is whether they might be violating local zoning laws. This is an old house with old electrical wiring which is located in a residential nieghborhood far from the city center.
